2024 has been a year of progress for the Maranatha Retreat and Conference Centre. We have seen an increase in the number of people using the facility, not only for the expected camps, conferences and prayer retreats, but also for celebrations of birthdays, local badminton club practices and a graduation ceremony for BTC. Our guests were of all ages, many nationalities and cultures. It can truly be said that guests came from far and wide to be refreshed, revived and renewed.

It has been a privilege to be part of the Maranatha staff who many times have gone above and beyond their duties to ensure the guests have a good experience and are able to focus on their respective programmes. We have faced many challenges such as water and electricity supply; however, with teamwork and gracious guests these were overcome, and we are making plans for long term solutions.
We have started a friends of MRCC group to assist us practically and financially as the facility is aging and maintenance and upgrades have been a major concern as we want the best for our guests. We have received donations pledges and offers of help from individuals and churches country wide and are looking forward to great improvements in 2025.

Please pray with us,
- That God would use us to His glory as He restores, renews and revives our guests.
- For wisdom and strength for the staff, MRCC committee and Baptist union.
- For more guests to use the facility.
- For the health, and safety of our staff and all working on the property.
- That each guest would be able to say it was good to meet with the Lord at MRCC.
What some of our guests had to say

with. Thank you you so much and may God bless Marantha Retreat Center.
- Food: Excellent! Very Tasty!
- It always feels good booking at our campsite, the catering was excellent
Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On behalf of the MRCC campsite committee, we want to thank you for your support during this past year. Without your commitment to use the Retreat Centre we would find it very difficult to exist. We have many challenges during this year, Jesus said “come to me all who are weary and heavy ladened and I will give you rest.” and many give testimony to the fact that they have found strength, peace and. and were spiritually renewed after spending time with the Lord at MRCC. You are a vital part of this ministry. As we come to the end of the year our prayer for you, your family and church family is that as you remember our Saviour birth that as you have accepted His free gift of salvation you will be burdened to share that gift with those in your circle who do not know Jesus personally. Jesus was born as a baby but grew up to be the Saviour of the World because of God’s great love for us. “God so loved the world that he gave us his only son that who so ever believes in me shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
A blessed Christmas and a new year filled with Hope for Christs return.
God Bless
Patricia Ihlenfeldt.
